Palmer Brown serves as Chief Strategy Officer, Compass Group North America. In this role he has responsibility for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate matters; risk management; and investor relations within North America.

Palmer joined Compass Group in 2001, and has served in several Finance, Strategic Planning, and Legal roles. Palmer has coordinated many of the acquisitions and divestitures for Compass North America. He was General Counsel from 2010-2013, Executive Vice President of Corporate & Legal Affairs from 2013-2014, and moved into his current role in 2014.

Palmer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina and his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Palmer has also passed the CPA exam.

He resides in Charlotte, NC.
