Cindy Noble is the Chief People Officer for Compass Group North America, where she oversees the careers and well-being of more than 280,000 associates.

Compass Group is the 10th largest company in North America and Cindy leads all aspects of human resources, including workforce planning, compensation, benefits, recruiting, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, communications, and labor relations. She is also a member of Compass Group’s Board of Directors.

A people first leader, Cindy is committed to offering all associates not just a job, but a career for life. She began her own career at Compass Group with Levy in 1992 and was named Executive Vice President of Human Resources in 2005. She was appointed Compass Group NA Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer in 2015 and Chief People Officer In 2017.

For her life’s work ensuring equity for all associates, Cindy has repeatedly won several distinguished awards. Most recently she was named by Involve People to the 2022 Empower Role Model List. The award showcases leaders who are championing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in their business.  Cindy was also recognized to the OUTstanding LGBT + Role Model List, which recognizes global champions of inclusion.

In addition, under her guidance, Compass Group USA has consistently been acknowledged by Fortune as one of the Worlds Most Admired Companies and by Forbes as a Best Employer for Diversity, a Best Employer for New Graduates, and a Best Employer for Women.

Cindy’s has served and continues to serve on the boards and committees of numerous external organizations, including Charlotte Center City, American Heart Association, and Jose Andres World Central Kitchen. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and continues to be an active member of their alumni network.
